History  Of Our Club


Our club was started in the mid 1970’s at Spike Butlers yards in Newbeith Rd, Greenbank. The club was officially registered with the PCAQ and relocated to the current location in Campbell Rd, Greenbank in 1976. At this time the club had 3 instructors and about 28 members. The club has now grown to have 7 instructors, about 79 members and 4 life members.   In 2001 the club celebrated 25 years of Pony Club Competition.

1976 - The club held its first junior and senior gymkhanas and has held a gymkhana every year since.

1978 - The cub held its first camp; this was at Paynes Bridge\
Jimboomba.
Also, held its first senior gymkhana.

1979 - the club held the zone 2 gymkhana for the first time

1979 - held their only combined training day

1983 - the clubs first teams of pairs competed at the RNA

1998 - held their first open hack and dressage competitions.
